How We Use Hedera

Ecosphere's Use Of HCS and HTS

1. User and Device Management

  • DID and Verifiable credentials are issued and stored on chain to ensure only permissioned users and devices have access and that the data received is from a valid source.

2. Data Submission:

  • Use HCS for sensor nodes to submit their readings or events to the consensus layer. This allows Ecosphere to achieve an ordered, auditable log of everything that was received.

3. Tokenization of Events:

  • Ecosphere will use tokens to recognize the performance of certain nodes that meet the Data Quality Score and Quality of Service criteria.

  • Certain data sets will be tokenized in order to allow ownership to belong to the specific contributing nodes who will be the sole beneficiaries of the revenue earned from that tokenized data set.

4. Audit and Analysis:

  • Utilize the ordered data from HCS for real-time monitoring and historical analysis and integrating analytics tools on top of this structured data.

  • Track provenance and version control of AI climate forecasting models.

5. Node Rewards System:

  • Leverage HTS to establish a rewards mechanism where nodes are compensated for relaying data accurately and consistently, using our fungible token for incentives.

6. Fractional Ownership of Nodes

  • Sophisticated nodes using high tech sensors such as flux towers to measure the net ecosystem exchange of GHG require an investment of USD 100k each. Using fractional ownership tokens, we can divide the investment and ownership into shares making it easier to fund and opening up a new group of investors.
