Decentralized Identity Assignment

Identity Creation: Each physical device is assigned a unique decentralized identity (DID) when it is initially registered on the network. This identity is generated using decentralized identity solutions (such as those compliant with W3C DID specifications) to ensure that each device can be uniquely identified without relying on a central authority.

Identity Verification: Implement protocols to verify the identity of the devices, ensuring that only authenticated devices can connect to the application. This can include cryptographic signing techniques to ensure authenticity.
