$PRIME Token
The Ecosphere Prime Token (“$PRIME”) is the native protocol token of the Ecosphere Network. $PRIME is the medium of exchange for all transactions on the Ecosphere network - supplying Climate Node rewards, staking, and one of the avenues for customers and end users to make payments. Monetary policies within the Ecosphere token economic system govern the minting, burning, distribution, and allocation of tokens to builders, investors, and the community.
Token Utility
The Ecosphere token $PRIME is a utility token to reward node operators for their participation in the network.

Token Value Accrual
The system dynamics of the Ecosphere economy is inflationary. Although the economic system contains both inflationary and deflationary mechanisms built in, inflationary dynamics dominate thus making the overall system dynamically inflationary. The inflationary mechanism mints tokens to reward Node owners, adding to the circulating supply from the climate data collection. The deflationary mechanism burns tokens in proportion to the revenue generated from the Ecosphere subscription revenues.
X% revenue received from subscriptions is converted into USD stablecoin. The underlying value of the native token is equivalent to the total value of the USD stablecoins in the treasury divided by the number of tokens in circulation.
Token holders can convert their tokens into stablecoin at the prevailing rate at any time.
Tokens that are swapped for USD stablecoin in the treasury are burned automatically to reduce the number of tokens in circulation and maintain the price peg.
